  • Scuttercast: Entangled

ScutterCastThe Scuttercast have uploaded the fourth of their shows covering Series X, beginning with their review of Entangled. While the Dwarfcasts provided instant reactions and we at The Garbage Podcast looked back at the episodes after a few days to gauge the reactions and online opinions, the Scuttercast is able to take the information from the recently released DVD into account, providing a different look at the episodes to either of the other podcasts.

The episode is available to download and you can find it on the podcast’s website and is also available on iTunes.

  • The Red Dwarf Introcast

rdpodcastlogosizedA new episode of The Red Dwarf Introcast has been uploaded, this time reviewing the first episode of Series V, Holoship. Some technical difficulties have resulted in an unusual competition, which we’ll let the Introcast explain below:

So Euan Anckorn was kind enough to be our guest on Holoship, but his program was deleted by the ship’s computer by mistake. (Poor Euan – we had so much fun, too!) Seriously, the file was lost. Yuck!

So we’ve decided to hold a Dead Man’s Boots competition for replacement guest. I have made a list of the “holes” in this episode where Euan used to be. We want you to record your silliest fill-ins and send them to us at thereddwarfpodcast@gmail.com. They do not have to make sense. In fact, the more absurd, the better. If we get enough entries and can find the time, we will recut this episode with some of your comments. Learn more at our Facebook group. Here is the list:

0:22 – Name (quick)

0:51 – 1:49: Self introduction

6:04 – 6:19: Some interesting fact that Heath “did not recall” followed by chorus of “indeeds”

7:44-7:49: Comment on Starbug?

21:49 – 21:57: An excellent point of some kind

34:07 – 34:32: Something hillarious… A smeg up?

39:04 – 39:19: Some interesting insight followed by my “Oh, yeah, that’s true.”

43:59 – 44:14: Your episode rating

46:49 – 47:10: Your quote

Looking forward to your entries!
