- Series X
This week saw the BBFC start to pass Red Dwarf X, and as with all things that they classify, the details were published on their website. Consequently we now know that episode 4 is entitled ‘Entangled’ and has been given a rating of 12 due to ‘moderate language and sex references.’ No remaining 5 episodes ratings have yet to be published online, but if they haven’t already been passed then they should be imminently. There is also a strong chance that the DVD content will be passed fairly soon too.
Dave’s update consisted of another pair of behind the scenes photos; one featuring the cast between scenes talking to warm up man Ray Peacock and the second showing Danny and Robert in full costume sat in with the rest of the audience during one of the recordings. Potential future updates that have been mentioned by Richard Naylor include a high resolution picture of the drive room set and another trailer. Doug has also recently mentioned on Twitter that the series air date will be revealed in an unusual way. Our best guess is that that it will tie into the Doomsdave promotion that Dave are currently engaged in, likely in an online update or possibly (though less likely) in the form of a TV trail.
- Sleeping Quaters Breakdown
Following up on Dave’s release of the picture of the new sleeping quarters from last Friday, The Official Site has updated with a breakdown of what can be found in the picture and what little nuggets you may have missed. The piece, which features a variety of close ups from the picture, can be found here. If you haven’t already seen it, you can find our analysis of the same picture from last week here and Ganymede & Titan’s is available here.
- On The Fringe Podcast Featuring Hattie
Following on from our mention last week of Hattie performing at the Underbelly in the play ‘George Ryegold’s God-In-A-Bag’, the On The Fringe Podcast has this week released an episode that features Hattie talking about her part in the play. You can download the podcast from the On The Fringe website here or via iTunes. The play won the award for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2011, and stars Toby Williams, Hattie Hayridge, Dan Mersh, Lindsay Sharman and Milo McCabe. The play runs until the 27th and tickets can be purchased here.
